INTRODUCTION

1. The Fifth Annual Hybrid Nigeria Special Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management Simulation Week and Disaster Management Equipment Exhibition, Edo 2024, is a significant event aimed at enhancing the preparedness and response capabilities of various stakeholders in disaster management. The exercise took place from 3 – 4 July 2024 in Edo State, with a focus on simulating realistic emergency situations, testing equipment, and evaluating the coordination and response strategies of participating entities.
2. The purpose of this report is to highlight the activities in the conduct of the Fifth Annual Hybrid Nigeria Special Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management Simulation Week and Disaster Management Equipment Exhibition. The report would cover the conduct of the exercise and outcomes, with a focus on the roles played by controlled entities during the simulations.
